    The tower of Torre Suda was an integral part of this articulated defensive system, it certainly contributed to ensuring a greater level of control of the coast and, therefore, of security for the hinterland. It is estimated to have been built around 1613, well preserved also thanks to the numerous interventions by the experts who have followed one another over the years, in the lower part it contains a cistern that served as a water reserve for the men who barricaded themselves inside for the purpose to defend the territory, while the upper part is equipped with structural elements typical of military architecture with three loopholes which allowed to respond in safety to enemy attacks.
