Halde Hoheward and the smaller Halde Hoppenbruch form the largest slag heap landscape in the Ruhr area, many great bike / hiking trails, circular courses, viewing platforms, trails, a trip is worthwhile, whether on foot or by bike.
Great view of the Ruhr area at an altitude of 152m.
The horizon observatory and the sundial are really beautiful buildings.
