Opposite the entrance to the administration building, in the lawn, is a sealed time capsule containing accounts of the Normandy landings. It is covered with a pink granite plaque and dedicated to General Dwight D. Eisenhower. It is scheduled to be opened on June 6, 2044, the 100th anniversary of D-Day.
