Hiking
The canal is 30 kilometers long and connects Leuven with the navigable part of the Dyle. If you drive it completely, you will pass five locks.
On the left bank you will find the Liesbeth or Weisetter forest, once part of an extensive forest area. Today it is a nature reserve.
