There is a new observation tower for visitors on the Spitsbergen in the Czech Republic. The 26.5 meter high tower on Špičák (Spitzberg in Czech Republic) near Zelezna Ruda (Markt Eisenstein) is not far from the border with Bavaria. 200 meters in altitude on a dead straight, very rocky path up to the watershed between the North Sea and the Black Sea, before continuing to the lookout tower on the Spicak summit. 135 steps lead up, once at the top, visitors are offered a wide view as far as Pilsen and the mountains Kubany, Großer Arber, Osser and Mittagsberg, on a clear day you can even see the Dachstein Mountains in Austria.

1202m. The observation tower (2022: 60Kcs.) has been around for a few years and offers great views in all directions, supposedly even as far as the Alps.
A cable car ends at Špičák at the top and there is a small snack bar offering drinks and ice cream. There are some rocks near the tower.

A nice lookout tower ... but you have to pay money for the entrance or ascent.
