The totem pole was made from one of the fallen trees that fell victim during a spring storm in March 2019. The tree had been in the play zone at the Konijnenberg and was given a second life as a totem pole in the same place. An employee of the Agency for Nature and Forests attacked the tree trunk to carve it into a real work of art. Thus the sessile oak became a totem pole.
