On Heimbach, near the Leyenweiher, you come across the ruins of the Brunnenkeller. In the middle of the 19th century, Baron von Loe, lord of Wissem Castle, had the Heimbach dammed up in the well cellar. Milk cans with milk from the cattle that grazed on the Broicherwiesen were stored in the dammed water. From here the milk was collected for further processing and for sale.
