In fact, the new asphalt is a splendour. Great climb to the Grand Ballon... Just be careful for cyclists coming from above! At the end of the stretch (height of the cemetery) there is a turnpike in a long right-hand bend. This newly paved section is closed to cars and motorbikes.

Very nice climb, especially if you start in Moosch. Newly asphalted in 2023 and prohibited for motorized traffic.
