Managed in summer. Delicious snacks and homemade cakes, fresh milk and buttermilk, very friendly service.

From the parking lot Geisalpe either by the Tobelweg to reach or quite comfortably on the driveway (run!)

A not so crowded alp and very nice. Also the food is very good.

Here, people and animals are close together with their basic needs. Good economy with adjacent cattle trough! Great!!!

A stop in the lower Richteralpe I can highly recommend because of the delicious home-baked cake and the very friendly host, both on the way up to the lake and on the way back (cake is always ;-)).

Open from May to October. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Nice stop after the hike, good snack.

The mountain inn has existed since 1893 and is now run as a family business in the fifth generation. From the Almterrasse you have a beautiful view over the Illertal. The Alm's local mountain, the striking Rubihorn (1957 m), can be climbed from the Gaisalpe within 2 ¾ hours. After 1 ½ hours you pass the picturesque Unterer Gaisalpsee. Other summit destinations around the Alm are the Sonnenkopf (1712 m, 2 ¼ hours), the Entschenkopf (2043 m, 3 hours) and the Nebelhorn (2224 m, 3 ¾ hours).
