    Doo Lough is a freshwater lake in scenic surroundings. The lough is about 3km long and 0.7km wide.

      Doo Lough, nestled in the rolling hills of County Clare, offers you a relaxing change on your bike tour. The long lake shimmers in various shades of blue and green that change depending on the time of day and the weather. Surrounded by meadows and isolated groups of trees, this place creates a calm atmosphere that literally invites you to pause.

      The route along the lake is not very busy and you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings undisturbed. As you cycle, there are always small detours that take you closer to the shore, where you can rest for a moment and let your gaze wander over the water. The scent of grass and wild flowers accompanies you and reinforces the feeling of being far away from everyday life.

      Doo Lough is one of those corners that you didn't necessarily plan to visit, but which turns out to be a little discovery - perfect for a short rest or just to capture the moment before moving on.
