From the dam, it goes down a little bit, then steeply uphill. It is not for nothing that cyclists dismount, but we are MTBers and not cyclists. But it gets exhausting. After the steepest passage comes the beautiful view of the wall. That's definitely worth it. It is still steep in the direction of wool soaps, but that is feasible.
