Beautiful little river port, very photogenic. There are a few terraces to eat or have a drink at the water's edge.

For the medieval and early modern dinan, the port was literally a "gateway to the world": leather goods, canvas and other textiles produced in the city were transhipped in the harbor and transported downstream to Saint-Malo.
Today, the harbor district is primarily a picturesque setting for a dozen restaurants, brasseries, creperies and bars, where you can dine and drink.
Important for cyclists: Between the upper town of Dinan and the harbor district are about 75 meters in altitude, with an impressive slope. Cobblestone specialists choose the route through the Rue du Jerzual, the Rue du Port is the ideal destination for everyone else, and the route leads from top to bottom (or vice versa).
