Christoph 1 is the rescue helicopter stationed at the Klinikum Harlaching, which was commissioned on 1 November 1970 as the first civilian rescue helicopter in the Federal Republic of Germany.
38 years after the opening of the air rescue center "Christoph 1" in Munich, the new hangar was officially inaugurated on 17 April 2008.
