This is a little-known country mansion on the hill above Kunštát, which is included among the National Cultural Monuments. If there had not been an archaeological survey, it would not have been discovered that it has Romanesque origins and it would not have become the oldest castle in Moravia practically overnight. After removing the ugly parquet in one of the rooms, another surprise awaited. The floor hid some older parquets. They are beautiful, inlaid and the oldest in Central Europe. Even the guides are only allowed to walk on them in slippers. Throughout the year, cultural and social events take place here, such as theater performances, craft festivals and Advent concerts. The opening hours in April and October are only for groups larger than 10 people, after prior arrangement by phone.
