Just a stone's throw from the main hiking trail through the Schlaubetal valley are the Großer and Kleine Jakobsee lakes, where hardly a hiker wanders. The large Jakobsee is a beautiful Brandenburg forest lake, the small Jakobsee is heavily overgrown and hardly recognizable as a lake.
