The church square in Homberg (Efze) was completely redesigned. The church received a circumferential eaves paving made of large-format sandstone slabs, which widen to form small forecourts in front of the two staircase portals. The access routes from the market place to the entrances were designed with small basalt paving in rows. The intermediate areas were paved in “wild bond”. A decorative paving of sandstone inlays (labyrinth) loosens up the square. The church square was given a watercourse that is connected to the watercourse on the market square via a crash structure. The approx. 700-year-old linden tree was given a new support structure.
