A wonderful little tour along the Bültsee on the pilgrimage route Via Jutlandika, a feeder to the Way of St. James.The Bültsee was formed in the last ice age and is completely fed by groundwater.
The lake is relatively poor in nutrients and is home to many rare plants and animals. There are only a few bodies of water of similar quality left in Germany.As children we always kept our eyes open for crayfish while bathing ... not that they were hanging on our feet 🦞February 14, 2021
