Very close to each other - less than a stone's throw from each other - the hiker / walker here in Dümpelfeld will find two churches: The old church of St. Cyriakus, built in the Romanesque style, which can trace its origins back to the Middle Ages (this highlight); and the new one (if you are interested, see komoot.com/de-de/highlight/7304858 ) from 1966, which was designed and furnished in a very modern way in the spirit of the times (awakening after the Second Vatican Council / renewal of the liturgy).
