Road Cycling Highlight (Segment)
Although it does not have impossible slopes and difficulties (average slope just over 6% on both sides), it is famous among cyclists both for the beauty of the area in which it is immersed, and because it has been climbed since the 1940s by the Giro d 'Italy. It is also one of the passes included in the Sellaronda and the Marathon of the Dolomites, a long distance cycling race.
Since 2006 it has also been the scene of the amateur uphill time trial valid for the AmaTour (the World Cup for amateur cyclists): the Arabba - Passo Pordoi.
From Arabba you have to face 33 hairpin bends to reach the Pordoi pass.

The Dolomites National Park is a paradise for cycling, its roads and the wonderful landscapes are a dream for any cyclist.

My favorite descent in the Sella Ronda is from the Sella Joch RI Passo Pordoi.
Cool curves, good speed to take up, just a dream descent.

Of course you would have to mark the whole loop as a highlight, but in the Sella Ronda the descent from Pordoi to Arabba is the classiest. Driving fast, great curves and still always time to enjoy the landscape. Take care of the surface, there are a few holes and cracks.

Before descending do not forget to take picture at Coppi's statue!
