Tips
The Floriani fountain is one of the oldest fountains in the city of Salzburg. In the middle of the square at the Alter Markt is the former market fountain. It was first documented in 1488 to replace an old draw well, when it was possible to build a drinking water pipeline from the Gersberg over the city bridge to the Alter Markt for the first time.
