You should plan enough time for this beautiful garden. The Hermannshof, a facility over 200 years old, was redesigned from 1981-1982 into a show and viewing garden for perennials. Around 2000 perennial species are scientifically supervised and thus enable a precise study of the perennials.

A dream for garden lovers.From the information from the Weinheim Tourist Office: The garden is a research and educational facility for the use of perennials under ecological and aesthetic aspects. You can get to know more than 2500 types and varieties of perennials. Furthermore, very old, in Germany z. T. very rare trees the plant. A visit gives gardening enthusiasts and professionals lots of ideas for new, attractive garden design.

Unfortunately, the garden is hostile to dogs. Dogs are NOT allowed on the premises. It was annoying that after arriving by train with the dog, I just stood there in front of it and couldn't look at this advertised garden. - Which I don't want anymore :) -
Notes on the Weinheim website were probably asking too much. Too bad.
