The channeled stream flows west from the Beestenveld estate to bend at right angles to the north just south of the De Mortel basin, close to the De Mortel basin, where there is a park along the Rips, and then a bit through agricultural area. The stream flows to the north and under the Gemert ring road, where it irrigates a small swamp park. Then it goes straight through the new housing estates and then splits into a western and a northern branch
