The neo-Gothic style town hall was originally built in 1887 by The Honorable Irish Society. The eventful history of the building, the city and the region lives on in the red brick, which has been saved time and time again despite several attacks. The impressive stained glass windows, its eventful history and the insight into the staircase, the great hall and the corridors of the unique building make a visit an experience. In June 2013 the restoration was completed.
