Hiking
In winter, the door is closed at the front. Do not be put off when everything is snowed down, there is another entrance from the farm. The kitchen is not bad, there is a menu, with snacks, dishes, good soups or cakes. If you order the plate with two pieces of schnitzel, you should not order two schnitzels, otherwise you will get two plates with four pieces of schnitzel, like I 😁. Self-service is appreciated, especially when busy.

Hiking
Olympic base Herzogenhorn on the Feldberg - an ideal place from hikers to professional athletes. Great, inexpensive accommodation and also a great place to stop during the hike. Unfortunately closed by Corona at the moment, but personally known from several overnight stays in previous years.
