During a famine, the townspeople wanted to pull the last bumblebee - a name for an ox back then - onto the church roof because grass was still growing in the gutter. But when they tried, they strangled the animal. The Röglingen artist and sculptor Rupert Fieger designed the monument for the village renewal of Tagemersheim, referring to the legend of the bumblebee mover.
