An iconic image of the "Black Madonna of Częstochowa" was accidentally discovered in a tree hollow in 1994. It had already become firmly overgrown with the bark of a beech tree and must have been located at this spot for about 50 years prior. The quiet and peaceful surroundings, situated in the middle of the forest on a slope, lend this place a special atmosphere and invite passers-by to stop and pray. Due to the large number of visitors, a real small altar has been created over the years, and the company "BikeStore" has donated several benches for it.

The Black Madonna is located on the north-west side of the Pröbstingsee. A kind of miniature pilgrimage site. Images of Mary and Jesus adorn a tree in front of which small crosses are placed and a candle is burning. A white wreath of flowers adorns a kind of knothole in which a small Madonna can be seen. A Polish soldier is said to have placed the icon in the tree hollow.
