The Furtner Teich is a pond in the Mariahof municipality which is of international importance as a bird sanctuary. A total of 237 different bird species, including 102 breeding species, were found here. The pond is about 500 meters long and 250 meters wide, the pond is used as a swimming pond and for fishing.
