Jesolo is divided into two areas: Jesolo Paese, about two kilometers from the beach, and the now more important Lido di Jesolo on the Venice Lagoon. Lido di Jesolo spreads out between the rivers Sile and Piave. At the mouth of the Piave lies the former fishing village of Cortellazzo.
