Klöcknerbahnweg at Geistbaum

The railway line of the former Klöcknerbahn runs for around 13 kilometers in the district of Unna. From the Königsborn colliery in Bönen, the tour first heads west. In the meantime, cyclists have to switch to road traffic because the original route is no longer passable. From Kamen, the route then runs in a northerly direction to just before the Datteln-Hamm Canal. The connection across the canal to Werne is possible via the colliery railway. The colliery railway, the Klöcknerbahnweg and the Max von der Grün Weg stretch from Werne Stockum to the former KB 3/4 colliery and offer a great experience. A top-notch cycle and hiking trail with a predominantly water-bound surface.

A really well laid out, easily passable bike path. In some places it is a bit narrow because of these bridges.
