Marina Rünthe

Marina Rünthe is a marina on Datteln-Hamm-Kanal in Bergkamen.
From there you can quickly get to Beversee or drive on the canal towards Hamm or Dortmund. In every direction a beautiful route - but without shade, can pretzel quite nicely on sunny days.

Whether it's worth it or not? So a little port or quasi-marine atmosphere has quite its charm, but the entire area has been artificially pounded out of the ground and it lacks for my taste (yet?) The patina of real life. In any case, there are delicious cakes in the on-site café.

Holiday mood in the Ruhr area! The largest marina in NRW is idyllically located on the Datteln-Hamm-Canal and offers the best conditions for a relaxing holiday in and on the water!
The former loading port of the oldest coal mine north of the Lippe, Werner colliery, operated since 1939 rain trade with export materials of the mining industry. In 1975, the colliery was closed, reloading points, port and quay fell into disrepair. The industrial wasteland directly at the water was taken over 1995 by the city Bergkamen and supplied to a meaningful use!
