Knappschaftsdenkmal Sankt Anna - memorial stone for the former St. Anna chapel. This chapel was first mentioned in 1502. On the initiative of the miners, the first Protestant service in the western Ore Mountains was held here in 1518. On the foundations of the dilapidated chapel, the Schneeberger Knappschaft had written in 1830 (MDCCCXXX), for the 300th anniversary of the handover of the "Augsburg Confessions" of the Evangelical Philanthropy ) to Emperor Charles V in July 1530 (MDXXX) in Augsburg, erected this monument.
Symbols of the memorial: The book is the Bible, God's Word. The cup signifies the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross and the new covenant made by God with man. The wreath of honor means the wreath of victory for the believers who remained steadfast.
