Wonderful views at an altitude of 1,968 meters, including the Hoher Ifen and the Diedamskopf. The climb requires a certain degree of vertigo and surefootedness.

The mountain, located in the Northwestern Walsertal Mountains subgroup, rises from the ridge that runs from the Diedamskopf (2090 m) to the southeast to the Grünhorn (2039 m). The direct mountain neighbor to the northwest is the Diedamskopf, from which the Falzer Kopf is separated by the Diedsattel (1800 m). In the east, the ridge runs over the Neuhornbachjoch (1845 m) to the Kreuzmandl (1974 m). In the north there is a small plateau where the source streams of the Subersach join. To the southwest, the flanks fall into the valley of the Bregenzer Ach and thus into the Bregenzerwald. The district in which the Falzer Kopf is located is Schoppernau (852 m), which lies at the foot of the southwest flank. The border to the northern municipality of Bezau also runs over the mountain.
