The Rotbachweg is almost 20 kilometers long in total, starts at the Grafenmühle in Bottrop and leads via Dinslaken to the mouth of the Rotbach in the Rhine. On the section through the Kirchheller Heide, the path is sometimes quite uneven, but you can ride in the shade of the trees. At the three-city corner of Oberhausen, Dinslaken and Bottrop there is a restaurant with a beer garden. Turn left here and you can finally see the Rotbach. The Rotbach now flows directly and unobstructed next to the Rotbachweg until Dinslaken-Hiesfeld. You can ride along the Rotbach in a relaxed manner, with wonderful landscape panoramas on offer every now and then and the condition of the path is top-notch. At the end of this part of the Rotbachweg is the Dinslaken Mill Museum and opposite is the Haus Hiesfeld restaurant.
