The town hall in Ansbach, a town in Middle Franconia in Bavaria, was built in 1531 and remodeled and expanded from 1621 to 1623 according to plans by Valentin Juncker. The town hall at Martin-Luther-Platz 1 is a protected architectural monument.

The four-storey gable roof building on a corner, with three-storey stepped volute gables, was altered or restored in 1748, 1792 and 1923/27. There are round-arched entrances on the eaves sides for passage. All windows have profiled frames made of red sandstone.

On the ground floor of the gable side facing the square there is a pharmacy, the former court and town pharmacy

The coats of arms above the archway depict highlights of Ansbach's history. In front of the building are two sculptures by Thomas Röthel, "Horizontal Development" and a stele commemorating the Ansbach resistance. The imposing palace opposite was designed by the Swiss court architect Gabriel de Gabrieli. Ansbach's weekly market takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays on Martin Luther Square, a visit to which is highly recommended. The "Bach Column" by Jürgen Goertz depicts the life and work of Johann Sebastian Bach. The first eye-catcher is the Margrave George Fountain, built in 1515 and last renovated in the 19th century.
