On the south side of the street in the main square, under a gate entrance, there is a small notice that reads "Malom Tó" - "Mills - Pond". Across the courtyard of a house, further down the stairs you will find the beautifully situated mill pond. The special thing about it is that it has not yet been fully clarified how the water gets into this pond. The latest research revealed that it carved an underground path from the north. The connection between the sea grotto and the mill pond is therefore very likely. The water of the mill pond ultimately makes its way to Lake Balaton. Those wishing to follow this waterway a little further on the surface must walk to a section of the pond's shore where a small surf can be seen and heard. The water flowing down here under the stone bridge combines in the small pond and the mill wheel. The water then accumulates again up to the next small waterfall and continues to flow between the houses and leaves the city. Around the mill pond and along the river you will find wonderful rest areas, ancient weeping willows and beautiful coffee houses that invite you to linger.
