AFT 2025 Kakashegyi parkoló - Dobogókő
The Kakashegy car park is a quiet spot that few people visit, so you don’t need to worry about crowds — unlike the parking areas further along the road to Dobogókő. From here, one can reach one of Hungary’s most popular hiking destinations at a comfortable pace, with only gentle uphill sections along the way. The route allows for plenty of flexibility: depending on your fitness level, you can easily shorten or slightly modify the path leading to the summit, as the trail layout offers several convenient options. The return section is similarly pleasant — in fact, the easy downhill parts are almost twice as long as the slightly steeper climbs, making the way back ideal for simply enjoying nature. This hike is especially recommended for those with moderate or lower fitness levels, as it combines accessibility with beautiful scenery.
