Levanzo Village

Just over 200 people populate this island all year round, made up of white limestone rocks that are divided into numerous caves.

Levanzo, the smallest of the Aegadian Islands, exudes an irresistible charm with its snow-white houses, which blend almost like pearls into the rocky landscape. A small fishing village where time seems to have stood still. As soon as you leave the main path and enter the narrow streets of the village, a completely different view opens up: rocks, nature, and the contrast between the clear, deep blue of the sea and the white facades of the houses. From the paths, you'll repeatedly have magnificent views of the coastline and the turquoise sea.A particularly beautiful place to take a break is the Cala Dogana bay, where you can not only enjoy the clear water but also observe the simple and quiet life of the islanders. Hiking on Levanzo is rather relaxed, but that's precisely what makes it so appealing – it's the perfect island to clear your head and escape the stress of everyday life.Early in the morning or late in the afternoon, the lighting is particularly beautiful and the village shines in a warm light – the perfect time to take photos or simply soak up the atmosphere.
