Korbach has an old town that is really worth seeing.
Partly still surrounded by the remains of the wall, farmers have built their half-timbered houses here in an open design.
There are two large Gothic churches in the old town whose towers can be seen from afar.
St. Nikolai and Kilianskirche are three-aisled hall churches, with St. Nikolai having a remarkably crooked tower roof.
The old town hall is also a remarkable building and the new building next to it does not deface it.
The Tylen Tower has been restored from the city fortifications.
In the tourist information you can borrow the key to climb it. Nice view over the old town and the surrounding mountains.
