In contrast to the Hockstein hikers' car park at the lime mine, this is a free hikers' car park. From here you can get to the Hockstein with just a few meters in altitude. The Hockstein has two disturbing factors, on the one hand overly loud motorbikes that like to curve up and down the road to Hohnstein during the day and in the evening and on the other hand an extensive spruce dieback, which clouds the view a little.
