In the middle of the Rhine-Main area on a ridge in the northern Odenwald, between Darmstadt and Dieburg, lies the NFH of the Dieburg local group in a large, contiguous forest area. The house is managed on a voluntary basis and is open to members and guests.

Very tasty food and also inexpensive, huge schnitzel with homemade potato salad for €11.89, very good value for money 👍🏻 open on Wednesdays and Sundays, although some side dishes are only available on Sundays. Plenty of shady spots when the heat gets the better of you, best in the large courtyard when the sun is beating down. There are also enough parking spaces, all in all worth a trip 😊
