The Baroque-style St. John's Church, built between 1787 and 1789 on the foundations of a previous building first mentioned in 1360, was consecrated in 1791. At this time the Möhlin flowed directly past the church, which gave rise to the patronage of John the Baptist. The church is on Falkensteiner Straße in the town center and is one of the few churches in Breisgau with an onion dome. The church with a high altar and two side altars was renovated from 1995 to 2008. The organ dates from 1980.
