Seibelsdorf is closely linked to the history of the Teutonic Order. He maintained a Kasternei with chapel in Seibelsdorf. An early Gothic single-nave chapel was built in the second half of the 13th century. This chapel was originally dedicated to the Holy Cross and later, following the name of the place, Saint Sebaldus as patron. The present church was built from 1936-1938. The glass windows of the church place the Christian creed in the center.
