Ménez Ham (“Meneham” in French) is the vestige of a 19th century thatched village, once inhabited by soldiers, customs officers and even peasant fishermen. It was restored from 2004 to make it a historic site. The space now houses a museum, artisan workshops, a shop and exhibitions.

Meneham is an old village of peasants, fishermen and seaweed growers. Indeed, over the centuries, the hamlet of Kerlouan has hosted a guardhouse, a barracks and farms of seaweed farmers.
