The Pontusval lighthouse in Brigogan-Plages , in the heart of the Pays Pagan, nestled in the rocky chaos, was built on the top of Beg-Pol. At a height of 14.5 meters, the Pontusval lighthouse was lit for the first time on September 15, 1869. The construction of the lighthouse was decided after numerous shipwrecks in a rocky area.
The Pontusval lighthouse is one of the jewels of the Côte des Légendes.
