As already described, the astropeiler can be visited on Sundays at 2 pm in the summer months (May to October). It is a guided tour with lectures costing 5 € and takes about 2 hours. The owner is now the NRW Foundation which has also renovated the direction finder. There are four mirrors of varying size and condition throughout the grounds.
