Soos is a national nature reserve located about 4.5 kilometers northeast of Františkovy Lázně in the Cheb district of the Karlovy Vary Region. The subject of protection is a set of forest ecosystems, fens, oligotrophic ponds, and pools with the occurrence of rare and endangered plant and animal species, including the marsh fritillary butterfly. Protected phenomena also include inanimate nature formations: mofettes (significant occurrence site), mineral springs, and diatomite layers.

Very fascinating and, despite the entrance fee, absolutely worth seeing with the small bubbling, warm springs.
