The crooked grandmother is the most prominent of the rock formations in the monument. Weathering made a huge head out of the conglomerate rock, which is held by a massive neck.
The rocks are covered with natural pine forest with winter oak and white birch. You can find thermophilic plant species in the undergrowth.
