The Zlobice nature area is a former military area near the village of Malhostovice. It lies about 15 km north of Brno in the direction of Svitavy near the main road No. 43 between the town of Kuř and the village of Malhostovice. Sheep and goats help to maintain and improve the neglected area of the Zlobice hill. At the same time, the tradition of herding here dates back to the 1950s, when the herd of Stavropol sheep of the Brno State Estate, Kuřim farm grazed here. From 1975, after the arrival of the army, the original orchards and pastures were overgrown with invasive trees. The turning point came only in 2004, when the area was taken over by the municipality of Malhostovice, which, together with its partners, is trying to restore the declared important landscape elements in this area. Association of Sheep and Goat Breeders z.s. organizes a number of events on the premises that allow visitors to learn about sheep and goat breeding and their products. In the Zlobice natural area, visitors can learn about the gentle breeding of sheep and goats during the season, see horses and donkeys grazing, and during the events they can have refreshments in Koliba. Information for visitors to Zlobice You can reach the area via the reconstructed road between Lipůvka (behind the cemetery) and Nuzířov. By car from the main road Brno - Svitavy - in the village of Lipůvka, turn left in the direction of Tišnov, after 1 km at the top of the climb, turn left (signposted) along the purpose-built road for 3 km to the area. By car from Tišnov via Malhostovice, turn right on the hill behind Nuzířov. On foot or by bike along the red and green tourist trail or cycle path from Kuřimi, Čebín, Malhostovice or Lipůvka. The hut is open during planned and agreed events.
