This forest path, which is partly asphalted and partly gravel, leads for around 15 km from Schönmünzach up to Mummelsee.
The gradients are never more than 10%, usually less.
The route disappointed me a bit in terms of scenery. There are no views and you constantly drive through the forest or, in the first section, along a torrent. After all, you overcome around 700 meters of altitude from Schönmünzach to Hornisgrinde. Can also be ridden on a trekking bike.
