Obereschenbach is a nice village with a very impressive church.

Cycling

The Catholic village church of St. George in Obereschenbach was built in the neo-Romanesque style at the end of the 19th century. Inside the single-nave building are figures of St. Catherine and St. Barbara from the church in Hundsfeld, a village six kilometers south of Hammelburg that had to make way for the expansion of the military training area during the Nazi dictatorship.
